Where are we?

Bradnop is a small and tranquil village in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park. 

Close by you will find the historic market town of Leek, with a large selection of antique shops, or you may wish to explore the magnificent rocky ridge called ’The Roaches’ which is just north of the town. The thriving picturesque market town of Ashbourne and the spa town of Buxton are within driving distance. For family’s and the more adventurous, Alton Towers is only a 20min drive away. Nearby is superb walking with Dovedale, the beautiful Manifold Valley, and the popular Manifold Cycle Track, all within easy reach. There are lots of pretty villages to explore close by, many with good pubs. 


Supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs a plenty are only 2 miles away from Little Bent

The Staffordshire Moorlands and Peak District National Park offer stunning scenery and breathtaking landscapes for you to enjoy and explore.


The small rural parish of Bradnop sits on the South Western edge of the Peak District National Park near the North Staffordshire and Derbyshire border between the market towns of Leek (5 mins) and the spa town of Buxton (15 mins), Ashbourne and Macclesfield are bout very accessible (20 mins) as is Bakwell (30mins)

The cottage is located in an area is also known as the 'Staffordshire Peaks' or the 'Staffordshire Moorlands' and has excellent walking and outdoor pursuits including cycling and climbing close by.

FROM BUXTON: take the A53 to Leek, Follow this travelling thru the village of  Blackhaw Moor. Turn Left after 'The Olive Tree' restaurant. After only a few hundred meters, turn right onto Stile House lane. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach Little Bent on the left.


FROM LEEK: take the A523 to Ashbourne, after about 2 miles you will see the ‘Bradnop’ village sign, turn left into the village. Continue for about ½ mile till you reach 'Bradnop crossroads'. Turn left onto 'Stile House Lane'. Little Bent will be the first property on the left. 


From M6 - From the South:

Junction 14 (Stafford North) - then A34 to Stone, then A520 to Leek.

OR Junction 15 (Stoke on Trent) - then A500, then A53 to Leek.


From M6 - From the North:

Junction 18 (Holmes Chapel/Congleton) - then A54 to Congleton & Bosley, then A523 to Leek. 

OR Junction 17 (Sandbach) - then A534 to Congleton and then A54 to Bosley, then A523 to Leek.

From M1: 

Junction 25 (Derby) then take A52 to Derby, straight through to Ashbourne and then Leek.


118 Bus Service: runs through from Stoke (Hanely) to Leek to Buxton (and onto Sheffield)

108 Bus Service: runs from Derby to Ashbourne to Leek to Macclesfield.
