Where are we?

Bradnop is a small and tranquil village in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Close by you will find the historic market town of Leek, with a large selection of antique shops, or you may wish to explore the magnificent rocky ridge called ’The Roaches’ which is just north of the town. The thriving picturesque market town of Ashbourne and the spa town of Buxton are within driving distance. For family’s and the more adventurous, Alton Towers is only a 20min drive away. Nearby is superb walking with Dovedale, the beautiful Manifold Valley, and the popular Manifold Cycle Track, all within easy reach. There are lots of pretty villages to explore close by, many with good pubs.

The Staffordshire Moorlands and Peak District National Park offer stunning scenery and breathtaking landscapes for you to enjoy and explore.

The small rural parish of Bradnop sits on the South Western edge of the Peak District National Park near the North Staffordshire and Derbyshire border between the market towns of Leek (5 mins) and the spa town of Buxton (15 mins), Ashbourne and Macclesfield are bout very accessible (20 mins) as is Bakwell (30mins)

The cottage is located in an area is also known as the 'Staffordshire Peaks' or the 'Staffordshire Moorlands' and has excellent walking and outdoor pursuits including cycling and climbing close by.
