"Had the best week here! Such a stunning location with amazing views. Was wonderful to sit in the garden and feel in the middle of nowhere with nothing but sheep and cows to hear .... yet a 10 minutes drive gets you to the lovely old market town of Leek.
Feeling very rested and looking forward to a return very soon!

"An amazing place for our weekend away. Pauline, the owner met us with the keys and gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and couldn't do enough to make our stay all it could be. The big bonus for myself and Ky-Ky Bear, my Rottweiler partner in crime was the huge field behind the cottage that we had exclusive use of while we were there. When most say they accept pets, we've found that normally means they are dog tolerant. Not so this place, it's actually dog friendly and welcoming and that's a huge difference, Pauline even joined us for the amazing spectacle of Ky's world beating ball skills in the field. I am a perfectionist and even I couldn't find anything that wasn't just perfect. And yes, we even found the umbrella in case it rained, the dog bowls in case you forgot to bring your own and the dog tennis balls in case dog decides it's playtime. Definitely going back soon."

Perfectly situated to explore the stunning Peak District. Although for us it was a very fleeting visit we still managed to sample some of the awesome scenery as recommended by the charming and welcoming host.

"My sister & I, along with our children, stayed here for 4 nights. The cottage is everything we had hoped for & more! It is one of the most equipped self catering homes I've been to, ever I think! Even though the cottage is very rural, we felt completely safe and comfortable. Pauline left us some milk, eggs and some yummy cakes & popped round to make sure we had got all we needed & also gave us some ideas for where to go. We felt really welcomed!
The house is so spacious & beautifully decorated & found a lot of things, such as the bedding, to be really good quality. Our children also loved looking out the window by the staircase to see the sheep & horses in the neighbours garden!
I could go on & on about how lovely this cottage is but I take up too much room!
